About Wickham Walkies
After a consultation over the phone you will be invited to meet for a introductory walk with yourself and your dog and some of the dogs I love and look after. Your dog must be friendly toward other dogs and humans. To ensure we have a happy well balanced pack we don’t take dogs with behavioural issues. We also do not take males that have not been neutered.
If you are happy after our meeting we can then go ahead and book them in.
Please note that for home boarding a provisional one night stay must be booked prior to their boarding date. This is a license requirement.
It is not compulsory or sometimes not possible but I like to meet up with you and your dogs for some walks prior to their stay ( free of charge). This introduces them to the other dogs I love and look after and it’s great for me to see how your dog behaves when they are out on their walks. They will also get to know me before their stay so I’m not a stranger to them when they arrive. It’s very beneficial for all of us.

Our dog Rocco loves staying at Wickham Walkies, he always gets excited when he realises he is going with Chrissy which is great when I'm feeling guilty about leaving him. I receive regular updates about his day and the walks he's been on which is lovely as I can see he is enjoying his holiday just as much as we are!

I run a sweet shop called The Sugar Mill in Chudleigh and rely on Chrissie to walk Eric 3 times a week. Eric is always pleased to see her and this is a reflection of her love and passion for dogs. Eric has also had sleepovers and it is wonderful to feel I can go away knowing he is happy in his second home! Would recommend this service to anyone.

Our Story
In the Beginning
Our home is very loving, comfortable and warm, we have toys for your dogs and we do ask that you provide any sleeping arrangements e.g. bedding with you, so that your dog feels more at home.
Exercise: We love exercise! Taking your dogs out for walks is a joyous occasion, we venture to lots of different and exciting places, like haldon, and allover the countryside! We try to spend a good few hours walking per day to exercise your dog and to have a fun time. Obviously if your dog requires more/less time walking please let us know!
Health & Hygiene: We at Wickham walkies take health & hygiene very seriously and care for your animals. they are kept in a safe enviroment under loving supervision and in a very secure garden. All we ask from you, the owner is to provide us with any special requirements or arrangements with health or dietary needs.They must also have their up to date vaccinations and inoculations including Kennel cough. They must also have had treatment for fleas and worms.
